ThreeCard is a variation of stud poker, with only three
cards dealt instead of the usual five. It actually consists of two separate
games. In the first game, you are betting that you will get one pair or
better, and you are not betting against the dealer. If you get one pair or
better, you are paid according to payout odds for the hand. In the second
game, you are betting against the dealer's three cards with an Ante bet and a
Play bet if you decide to stay. The dealer must have a Queen high or better
to play. If the dealer does not play, you push on the Play bet and win the
Ante bet 1:1. If the dealer does have a Queen high or better, and you beat
the dealer's hand you win 1:1 on both the Ante bet and the Play bet. |
